Sensible and latent charges
Design cooling capacity is determined by evaluating heat gains in the space, fresh air effect and moisture load.
We prepare projects, flow-pressure calculations and equipment coordination for chillers, heat pumps, cooling water circuits and terminal systems. We evaluate the cooling needs of commercial buildings and industrial spaces according to the usage scenario.
Cooling capacity is not determined solely by space. Outdoor environment, solar gain, fresh air, users, process equipment and concurrency are the inputs of the design calculation.
Design cooling capacity is determined by evaluating heat gains in the space, fresh air effect and moisture load.
Temperature regime, partial load, device operating conditions and required redundancy are considered together.
Flow rate, pipe diameter, critical line pressure loss, pump selection and hydraulic balancing calculations are created.
Condensate drainage, cold surface insulation, valve control and appliance service access are designed.
After the project data and existing system conditions are determined, calculations, layout, equipment and field coordination are brought together in the same technical document.
Space usage profile, process load and outdoor weather conditions are determined.
Simultaneity is evaluated with the sensible and latent loads of the locations.
Cooling source, pipe circuit, terminal and drainage route are planned.
Device/line selections, drawings, technical descriptions and field coordination are prepared.
Depending on the type of project, the following data may be shared:
Cooling load and chiller rated capacity may not represent the same design condition. When choosing a device, manufacturer performance data, water temperature and outdoor conditions should be compared.
The regulations to be applied to the project, relevant TS/TS EN standards, equipment manufacturer requirements and employer technical specifications are evaluated together. Design assumptions are verified against the actual conditions of the facility.
Submit Technical Request →No. The chiller thermal capacity is selected from the load calculation, and the pump is selected from the circuit flow rate and total pressure loss.
