Heat and condensation insulation
Heat loss-gain, surface temperature, condensation risk and vapor barrier continuity of hot/cold lines are evaluated.
We provide technical evaluation and field coordination for material-thickness selection in heat and condensation insulation, pressure and leakage tests in mechanical installation lines, flushing, balancing and commissioning controls.
Just because the installation has been chosen with calculations does not mean that it will provide the same performance in the operation. Assembly quality, insulation integrity, cleanliness, hydraulic adjustment and measured performance must be verified together.
Heat loss-gain, surface temperature, condensation risk and vapor barrier continuity of hot/cold lines are evaluated.
The pipe material, design pressure and test method and recording criteria in accordance with relevant standards are described.
Procedures for washing mechanical lines, filter/strainer cleaning and equipment protection are arranged.
Reaching design values is checked through pump, valve, fan and terminal measurements.
Design assumptions are clarified by evaluating each facility's intended use, existing infrastructure and equipment conditions separately.
Line route, insulation, test points and device connections are reviewed.
Safety precautions, test pressure and duration criteria appropriate to the relevant system are determined.
Washing, ventilation, filtration, balancing and automation controls are planned.
Measured flow rate, pressure, temperature and setting values are reported.
Missing information and scope of discovery can be determined at the first meeting.
The test pressure and method should not exceed the allowable value of the weakest equipment. For steam and other special systems, only relevant legislation and authorized test procedures apply; Testing with water is not suitable for every system.
Relevant legislation, applicable TS/TS EN standards, employer technical specifications and manufacturer instructions are checked according to the project type. Application and testing processes must be carried out in accordance with the authorization/license conditions.
Submit Technical Request →No. Insulation is not a substitute for tightness testing; Whenever possible, testing and approvals are completed without closing the insulation.
