Design flow rate
The required pump flow rate is determined by taking into account the usage profile, armature loads and simultaneity.
We design booster groups, pump duty point, pressure control and necessary valve-equipment layout for pressurization of domestic and process water. We calculate and control the provision of sufficient flow rate and pressure at remote consumption points.
The basis of booster selection is the requested system flow rate and the pressure requirement at the critical consumption point. Building height or pump label pressure alone are not sufficient data.
The required pump flow rate is determined by taking into account the usage profile, armature loads and simultaneity.
Level difference, pipe friction, valve/armature losses and the required pressure at the end point are evaluated together.
Single/multi-pump layout, frequency-controlled operation, pressure sensor and appropriate expansion tank are designed.
Tank connection, cavitation risk, dry running protection, check valve and isolation valves are designed.
After the project data and existing system conditions are determined, calculations, layout, equipment and field coordination are brought together in the same technical document.
Usage points, concurrency and warehouse/network conditions are determined.
System curve and booster duty range are calculated according to the critical point.
Backup, automation, pressurization and connection equipment are selected.
Assembly diagram, instrumentation and equipment list are prepared.
Depending on the type of project, the following data may be shared:
The maximum closed valve pressure of the booster should be compared with the allowed working pressure of the installation. In case of excessive pressure on the floors, pressure zones or reducers are also evaluated.
The regulations to be applied to the project, relevant TS/TS EN standards, equipment manufacturer requirements and employer technical specifications are evaluated together. Design assumptions are verified against the actual conditions of the facility.
Submit Technical Request →No. Flow-pressure duty point, pump curve, suction conditions and min/max pressures of the system should be determined together.
